On September 15th the Center Harbor Inn partnered with the Auction Elves Community Challenge team to host the first ever BeachaPalooza to benefit the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction.
The beach party was held from 3pm – 8pm on the shores of beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee at the Center Harbor Inn’s private beach. During the party the team held a raffle and friendly competition of corn hole with great prizes such as gift cards to some of our favorite local businesses: Mind & Body Oasis, Polished and Proper Barbershop, Hannaford Supermarket and Path Resorts. There was a delicious food offering provided by the Canoe Restaurant and Tavern and a generous dessert display compliments of Gusto Italian Café which was enjoyed by all.
The weather leading up to the event was uncertain, but the sky cleared just in time for the party to begin. Attendees enjoyed live music performed by Matt the Sax, setting the perfect vibe for the beach bash and there was also a cash bar held by the Canoe Restaurant offering some of our favorite summer beverages.
All proceeds from the event were donated to the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction and between the ticket sales for the event and the unique BeachaPalooza Overnight Promotion, the team raised over $5,344 for this year’s brand-new fundraiser!
