It was a beautiful October morning to be at Prescott Farm! We met inside their restored antique barn and wandered through the bountiful harvest of the gardens. Like all of the organizations the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction supports, they have thoughtfully and carefully adapted their programs for COVID-19 and continue to plan with community safety as their top priority. The team is hopeful that WildQuest Camp and Fledglings Nature-based Preschool will return in 2021.
Currently, visitors can enjoy COVID-safe nature-based experiences at one of Prescott Farm's Community Connections Programs (see their website or Facebook page for schedule). For those hoping to explore on their own schedule, the 160 acres of trails, fields and gardens are open daily from dawn to dusk. Adventure Packs are a perfect option for those who wish to take that independent exploration up a notch.
Prescott Farm has some exciting plans for 2021 that will ensure that educators, families and children have even more opportunities to explore, understand, and appreciate the natural world.
